Job Description:

Robert Half is looking for a dedicated Human Resources Manager to join our team on the Westbank of New Orleans. Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the full spectrum of HR operations, including recruitment, benefits administration, and employee relations
  • Develop and implement company policies to ensure consistent practices and compliance with employment regulations
  • Oversee training programs for employees and leadership, fostering growth and organizational development
  • Handle performance management processes, supporting both employees and management in achieving goals
  • Collaborate with executive leaders and administrative teams to align HR strategies with business objectives
  • Address employee concerns and create retention strategies to maintain a positive workplace culture
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, staying updated on changes and implementing necessary adjustments
  • Lead compensation planning and analysis to maintain competitive pay structures
  • Facilitate safety training and initiatives to promote a secure work environment
  • Utilize HR software systems to streamline processes and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are a plus
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, including full-cycle HR functions
  • Proficiency in talent acquisition, compliance, employee training, and organizational development
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements
  • Exceptional communication and time management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and capable of handling both high-level strategy and day-to-day tasks
  • Proven ability to collaborate with executive teams and administrative staff
  • Experience with HR software and systems to manage processes efficiently
