Job Description

Assist the Director of Human Resources in executing strategies focused on attracting, retaining, and developing a diverse talent pipeline. Manage the daily activities of the Human Resource Office, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and training. Focus on delivering HR services to meet employee needs and ensure business success.

Job Responsibility

  • Assists in the interviewing and hiring of Human Resource employee team members with the appropriate skills
  • Establishes and maintains contact with external recruitment sources
  • Attends job fairs and ensures documentation of outreach efforts
  • Networks with local organizations to source candidates
  • Oversees/monitors candidate identification and selection process
  • Works with the unemployment services provider to respond to unemployment claims
  • Supports departmental orientation programs for onboarding
  • Maintains effective employee communication channels
  • Ensures medical records are maintained in a secure file
  • Ensures compliance with procedure for accessing employee files

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major
  • 1 year experience in the human resources, management operations, or related professional area
