Job Responsibility:
Provide guidance to supervisors on employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance management processes
Offer consultative support to leadership on employee-related issues, ensuring fair and legally compliant practices
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks
Oversee the development, implementation, and updates of HR policies to align with legal and organizational requirements
Administer benefits programs, managing vendor relationships, enrollments, and annual renewals to ensure compliance with regulations
Collaborate with payroll to address HR-related payroll concerns and support audits and reporting needs
Lead recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding processes, ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience
Manage and optimize HR systems to maintain data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and scalable processes
Partner with leadership on compensation planning, workforce strategies, and organizational initiatives
Maintain thorough and organized records of HR actions, ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in employee relations, HR administration, and compliance within a manufacturing or similar environment
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Proficiency in managing benefits programs and working with HRIS systems
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive employee matters with sound judgment and discretion
Experience overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate and compliant HR documentation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with leadership and employees
