A well-established construction and field services company in Oceanside is hiring an HR Manager to lead and oversee all human resources functions. This role is both strategic and operational, requiring hands-on leadership, strong compliance knowledge, and the ability to support a diverse workforce that includes field and office staff. The HR Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and a resource to employees.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee all HR operations including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and benefits
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices
Ensure compliance with California labor laws and industry regulations
Lead performance management and employee development initiatives
Manage investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational growth
Oversee HR reporting, audits, and documentation
Support safety programs and training initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
5+ years of progressive HR experience, including management
Strong knowledge of CA labor laws and construction workforce practices
Proven leadership and decision-making skills
Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving abilities
