A growing manufacturing company in Vista is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee employee relations, compliance, recruiting, performance management, and HR operations across a dynamic production environment. This role will partner closely with leadership and operations teams to support workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational growth initiatives. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for balancing strategic HR leadership with hands-on daily support in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee daily HR operations including employee relations, policy administration, compliance, and personnel management
Ensure compliance with employment regulations including wage and hour laws, OSHA, FMLA, ADA, and workers’ compensation requirements
Maintain HR records, reporting, and personnel documentation
Support investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution processes
Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational initiatives
Lead recruiting efforts for manufacturing, operations, and corporate positions
Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and training initiatives
Support employee development, succession planning, and retention strategies
Develop and maintain training programs related to safety, compliance, and workplace expectations
Provide coaching and HR guidance to supervisors and managers
Support employee engagement and culture-building initiatives
Assist with performance review processes and employee development plans
Promote a collaborative, safety-focused workplace environment
Requirements:
5+ years of HR management experience required
Strong understanding of HR practices within manufacturing or industrial environments
Knowledge of California labor laws and workplace compliance requirements
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Manufacturing or industrial industry experience
Experience supporting hourly and production workforces
