We are looking for an experienced and driven Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR functions within a dynamic manufacturing environment in Lincolnton, North Carolina. This role is pivotal in managing recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and workforce development to ensure the organization’s success. The ideal candidate will collaborate with leadership to foster a positive workplace culture and align HR practices with operational objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for various roles, including production, skilled trades, administrative, and leadership positions
Develop and execute staffing strategies to address high-volume and seasonal hiring needs
Establish partnerships with local schools, staffing agencies, and workforce organizations to support recruitment efforts
Oversee onboarding and orientation programs tailored to plant-specific requirements
Mediate workplace concerns, ensure fair resolution of employee issues, and support corrective actions
Collaborate with operations leadership to enhance employee engagement and maintain high morale
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws while maintaining accurate employment records
Implement and track comprehensive training initiatives, including safety programs and leadership development
Manage performance review cycles, guiding managers on documentation and employee evaluations
Support benefits enrollment processes, payroll accuracy, and workers’ compensation claims
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
HR certification is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, particularly in employee relations and recruitment
Familiarity with labor laws and safety regulations applicable to manufacturing environments
Proven experience managing a high-volume hourly workforce
Exceptional communication and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to coach and guide leadership
Proficiency in HRIS systems, such as Workforce Now or Paylocity, along with time-tracking software
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining compliance and record-keeping
Ability to identify skill gaps and implement effective training programs to support workforce development
