We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Boulder, Colorado. This is a long-term contract position that offers an opportunity to oversee critical HR functions, including payroll, compliance, and talent acquisition. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in Paylocity and a strong background in HR operations.
Job Responsibility:
Process payroll using Paylocity, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines
Collaborate on payroll transitions by working alongside the outgoing employee for two payroll cycles
Manage HR compliance specific to Colorado regulations, addressing leave policies and employee relations
Conduct talent acquisition activities, including background checks and I-9 verifications, with a focus on backend processes
Oversee onboarding procedures to ensure seamless integration of new hires
Support employee relations by addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace environment
Administer benefits programs and ensure employees understand available options
Utilize HRIS systems to maintain and update employee records efficiently
Coordinate with internal teams to meet deadlines during a five-day close process
Requirements:
Proven experience with Paylocity for payroll processing
Strong understanding of HR compliance regulations in Colorado
Proficiency in HRIS systems and employee record management
Background in talent acquisition processes, including onboarding and background checks
Ability to handle employee relations with professionalism and empathy
Familiarity with benefits administration and related functions
Excellent organizational skills to manage payroll transitions and deadlines
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams
