The HR Manager is responsible for executing HR initiatives that align with business goals. This role supports key HR functions in partnership with Global COE’s and other HR Mangers, such as talent management, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development. The HR Manager will work closely with operations leadership to ensure that HR strategies support business objectives, enhance productivity, and help cultivate a positive workplace culture that aligns with operational needs and long-term success.
Job Responsibility:
Implement HR strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives, operational requirements, and performance goals
Work alongside Site Leadership to improve employee engagement, enhance productivity, and support organizational development, ensuring HR initiatives meet business needs
In partnership with PCI’s HR Centers of Excellence such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and HR Operations, manage aspects of the talent lifecycle, including recruitment, employee development, and internal mobility. Support workforce planning to ensure talent is appropriately matched to business needs
Provide guidance on employee relations issues, helping to resolve conflicts and ensure compliance with employment laws. Promote positive and fair workplace practices while mitigating potential risks
Champion the creation of a high-performance culture by focusing on employee engagement, equity and inclusion, as well as well-being programs that contribute to a supportive work environment in partnership with Global Benefits
Ensure adherence to applicable employment laws and regulations. Promote ethical practices across all HR functions and maintain a strong focus on compliance across multiple jurisdictions
Assist in managing HR components of organizational change, such as restructuring, new site openings, or changes in business strategy. Provide support to operations during transitions to maintain focus and stability
Support HR teams with talent development, collaboration, and performance improvement efforts. Foster a team-oriented culture focused on continuous growth and accountability
Track and analyse HR metrics such as retention, turnover, and employee satisfaction. Support data-driven decision-making to improve HR effectiveness and contribute to workforce planning
Partner with leadership to influence decisions impacting HR strategies and overall business performance. Offer HR insights and recommendations that support operational excellence
Contribute to ESG initiatives by supporting HR practices that align with the company's sustainability and social responsibility goals. Assist in ESG training and reporting efforts
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field, or at least 5 years of progressive HR experience in a life science, manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and the dynamics of an hourly workforce
Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development
Ability to collaborate with leadership and contribute to HR decision-making processes
Experience in managing change, supporting HR projects, and assisting with organizational design
Proficiency in HR systems (e.g., Workday) and workforce analytics
