Job Description:

Fantastic opportunity for a Human Resource Manager based at Exeter store on full-time basis. Strategic HR partner role shaping co-worker experiences, championing individual potential, and driving business success through people in dynamic retail environment.

Job Responsibility:

Guide and execute operational requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to support implementation of People and Culture strategy
Coach managers on solutions related to workforce, talent, co-worker engagement, organisational effectiveness, change management and rewards
Ensure line managers develop business and leadership competence
Foster ongoing open dialogue with co-workers, their associations and other organizations
Be responsible for ensuring talent and succession goals are achieved
Participate and represent Human Resource in strategic business plan development and ongoing business meetings
Implement co-worker relations plan that manages local interactions with co-workers and ensures compliance with policies, procedures and laws

Requirements:

5 years experience in Human Resource within the retail or a related sector
Able to build positive relationships and create a culture where everyone feels valued
Knowledge of employment law and workplace rights, with ability to navigate and mediate relationships between co-workers, management, trade unions, and government bodies
Experience in strategy development and stakeholder relations
Experience in performance management
Experience in HR issue resolution and policy management
Experience in business model guidance
Proven ability to prioritise and organise workload
Confidence to express ideas and opinions effectively through clear communication
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Experience implementing long-term plans according to set budgets and goals
Understanding of different leadership styles and needs
