Job Responsibility:
Manage payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Handle employee relations, offer guidance, and help resolve issues to support a positive company culture
Oversee benefits administration, addressing employee inquiries and facilitating the enrollment process
Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws and company policies—reviewing and updating as necessary
Lead end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring new hires get off to a strong start
Oversee all aspects of onboarding to deliver a smooth, compliant, and welcoming new hire experience
Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance
Support manager development and advise on performance and employee engagement
Supervise and mentor one direct report in HR
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required)
Experience with broad-based HR responsibilities, including payroll, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, and benefits, ideally in a multi-state environment
Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practices
Proficient with HRIS and payroll systems
Excellent communicator and problem-solver with a high degree of professionalism
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
