We are looking for an experienced Bilingual Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. Job Responsibility:
Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive workplace environment
Oversee HR administrative functions, including maintaining records, managing compliance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
Coordinate benefit programs, ensuring employees have access to resources and support for their health and well-being
Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee data and streamline HR processes
Lead onboarding activities to ensure new hires are integrated effectively into the organization
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR policies aligned with company objectives
Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns
Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements
Train and support HR team members to promote detail oriented growth and efficiency
Manage day to day functions for union members
Requirements:
Proven experience in employee relations, with a focus on conflict resolution and workplace improvement
Strong expertise in HR administration and operations, including compliance and record management
Familiarity with benefit functions and programs aimed at employee well-being
Proficiency in HRIS systems for data management and process optimization
Experience in onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration for new employees
Knowledge of labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership and team members
Experience working with unions
Must be fluent in Spanish
