We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in the NW suburbs. In this role, you will play a key part in fostering a positive workplace culture, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. This position requires a proactive approach to addressing workplace concerns and supporting overall organizational goals.
Job Responsibility:
Handle employee complaints, grievances, and conflicts with a focus on resolution and fairness
Lead investigations into workplace issues such as harassment, discrimination, and policy violations
Provide guidance to managers on performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations
Collaborate with legal counsel on employment-related risks and litigation matters
Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures consistently across the organization
Drive efforts to enhance employee engagement and maintain a positive workplace atmosphere
Oversee onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new employees
Manage HRIS systems effectively to support HR operations and reporting
Ensure compliance with benefits administration and related functions
Support organizational goals by aligning HR initiatives with business objectives
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in human resources management
Strong expertise in employee relations and conflict resolution
Proficiency in HR administration, including onboarding and benefits management
Familiarity with HRIS systems, such as PeopleSoft
Ability to conduct workplace investigations with professionalism and attention to detail
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to promote positive employee engagement and a healthy workplace culture
