Our client, a mission-driven non-profit organization committed to advancing positive social impact, is seeking an accomplished HR Manager. In this critical role, you will support organizational growth through strategic leadership, operational rigor, and innovative HR solutions. Working closely with the Chief People Office and COO, you will help build and scale effective people programs in a highly collaborative and purpose-oriented environment.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee employee relations, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment
Manage HR administrative tasks, including recordkeeping and compliance with policies and procedures
Coordinate and monitor benefit programs, ensuring employees are informed and supported
Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee data and streamline HR processes
Lead onboarding efforts to ensure new team members integrate seamlessly into the organization
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with company goals and objectives
Serve as a point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR-related matters
Support management in workforce planning and organizational development
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, reducing risks for the organization
Promote a culture of inclusivity and collaboration across all departments
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
5-10+ years of progressive People Operations and/or HR Generalist experience, ideally in the non-profit sector
2-5 years in HR leadership roles
Experience in compensation design, incentive structures, benefits compliance, payroll, and people data governance
Demonstrated skill in managing HR technologies and building scalable, sustainable processes
Exceptional analytical, project management, and organizational skills
Collaborative, proactive leadership style with a commitment to non-profit mission, values, and operational excellence
