The Human Resources Manager leads the Human Resources function at the company. This leadership role includes managing all aspects of the HR function in coordination and collaboration with managers and cross-functional partners within the company's Human Resources Department. The HR Manager ensures that employee matters are handled to meet all applicable federal and state laws, as well as company guidelines. In addition, the HR Manager is in charge of conducting a variety of analyses spanning compensation and benefits to employee performance and talent and engagement success metrics.
Job Responsibility:
Protect the interest of employees by ensuring legal requirements for equal employment and compliance are met
Counsel management on compensation and organizational structure
Lead employee performance review and performance rating calibration process
Oversee execution of personnel changes including job descriptions, compensation, and structure changes
Manage employee recruiting and on-boarding program
Conduct employee relations activities and programs
Administer all HR policies, practices, and programs
Establish appropriate HR metrics
Assist with Unemployment Claims/hearings
Oversee training program for manufacturing staff
Participate actively in the development of team members
Manage employee engagement program
Oversee annual employee engagement survey
Ensure administrative duties including payroll and managing employee files are managed
Oversee employee communication
Oversee 1-2 staff that supports day-to-day functioning of the HR department
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and 5 years of human resources generalist experience
Human Resource Management, Recruitment and Hiring, Benefits Administration, Compensation and Wage Structure, and Performance Management Experience required
Supervisory experience highly preferred
Food Manufacturing experience highly preferred
PHR or SHRM certification highly preferred
