Resolve advanced HR inquiries from employees and managers, including issues involving policy interpretation, payroll concerns, tax-related questions, and employee relations matters
Address escalated cases referred by HR Advisors and deliver timely, accurate follow-up in alignment with established service expectations
Research and manage non-routine HR issues that fall outside standard training, using independent judgment to determine appropriate solutions
Contribute to the ongoing effectiveness of HR Shared Services by completing assigned process work and identifying ways to improve efficiency and service quality
Collaborate with HR teams and business partners to strengthen alignment, share knowledge, and support consistent service across departments
Assist with the rollout and operational support of new HR services and related project activities as they move into team workflows
Maintain and enhance departmental knowledge resources and databases so advisors can independently resolve a broader range of incoming requests
Provide guidance and day-to-day support to entry-level representatives and newly onboarded team members when needed
Support variable scheduling needs, including evenings, weekends, and overtime, while maintaining reliable attendance and punctuality
Perform additional HR support duties as assigned to meet team and business needs.
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in human resources, HR operations, shared services, or a closely related support role
Demonstrated ability to interpret HR policies, procedures, and guidelines and apply them to employee and manager inquiries
Hands-on experience handling payroll, tax, employee relations, or other sensitive HR matters with accuracy and discretion
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and professionally
Ability to investigate issues thoroughly, manage escalations, and resolve cases within defined service level expectations
Experience supporting process improvement efforts, maintaining HR knowledge databases, or contributing to operational documentation
Comfortable partnering with cross-functional HR teams and assisting with training or support for less experienced staff
Flexibility to work variable hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime, based on business demands.
