We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead and manage HR operations for a dynamic organization based in Costa Mesa, California. This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee various HR functions, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with regulations. As this is a long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in supporting the organization's workforce during this interim period.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and organizational policies
Manage employee relations, providing guidance and resolving workplace conflicts to maintain a positive environment
Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards
Supervise the payroll process, conducting regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulations
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support organizational goals and promote a strong company culture
Lead talent acquisition efforts, including recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding processes
Partner with external advisors, insurance carriers, and legal counsel to address complex HR issues and regulatory matters
Monitor and manage workers' compensation claims, including reporting and return-to-work programs
Prepare detailed reports and present HR metrics to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making
Provide coaching and training to managers and employees on performance management and HR best practices
Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in human resources management with attention to detail
Strong expertise in employee relations and conflict resolution
Proficiency in HR administration and payroll systems, including UKG Pro
Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle payroll and benefits functions
Knowledge of HRIS systems and data management
Experience with onboarding processes and talent acquisition strategies
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure data integrity in all HR functions
