We are looking for a dedicated and resourceful Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Flint, Michigan. This role is ideal for someone who excels at managing HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and balancing administrative responsibilities. The successful candidate will be organized, proactive, and capable of supporting the organization’s workforce effectively.
Job Responsibility:
Manage all aspects of HR processes, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and recordkeeping
Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations, including termination procedures and compliance audits
Process payroll efficiently using Paychex software and generate related reports
Act as a point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR policies and benefits
Handle workers’ compensation claims and insurance-related tasks with accuracy
Collaborate with leadership to address HR issues and maintain compliance standards
Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions by inputting invoices
Maintain accurate and secure employee records to support HR audits
Support additional administrative and operational duties as required
Requirements:
Comprehensive knowledge of HR compliance and employment laws
Proven experience processing payroll, with preference for familiarity with Paychex
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
Familiarity with HRIS systems and related technologies
Ability to adapt to dynamic work environments and take on varied responsibilities
Experience with employee relations, onboarding, and benefits administration
Comfortable collaborating with leadership and supporting operational tasks
