Job Description:

We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join a non-profit team located east of Pittsburgh. As an HR Manager, you will be tasked with overseeing all activities of the HR department, managing human resources plans, and administering personnel policies. You will also be responsible for implementing strategic recruitment plans and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Overseeing and managing the Human Resource department
  • Developing and administering various human resources plans and procedures
  • Coaching and counseling managers through performance management initiatives
  • Implementing and annually updating compensation programs
  • Developing, recommending, and implementing personnel policies and procedures
  • Performing benefit administration
  • Maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Developing and implementing strategic recruitment plan
  • Establishing and maintaining department records and reports
  • Participating in administrative staff meetings
  • Conducting an annual staff satisfaction survey
  • Coordinating with Credentialing Specialist for clinical staff hiring and retention
  • Managing and assisting leadership and managers with job performance evaluation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required
  • A minimum of 5 years related HR experience, at least 2 of these years in a management role
  • Broad generalist background including coaching and counseling, performance management, employee involvement, teambuilding, as well as compensation and benefits
  • HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations
  • Experience in implementing and administering performance programs, preferably in a company that puts strong emphasis on performance metrics and accountability
  • Leads, embraces and encourages a culture of trust and teamwork
  • Must have demonstrated success in recruiting and retaining diverse employee talent, including creating and implementing recruitment strategies
  • Exceptional project and personnel management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point is essential
  • Exhibit extraordinary discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our senior management team

  • HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
  • Experience in implementing and administering performance programs
