A Robert Half client is seeking a well-rounded HR Generalist to support a growing, fast-paced organization in the transportation and logistics space. This is an onsite role supporting approximately 100 employees and reporting directly to the Vice President. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on and involved across all areas of HR.
Job Responsibility
Manage full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding
Serve as a trusted resource to leadership and employees on HR-related matters
Handle employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
Support performance management, including coaching managers and disciplinary processes
Administer employee benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k) and act as liaison with vendors
Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS (ADP)
Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational needs
Requirements
4+ years of HR experience in a generalist or standalone capacity
Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law
Experience in transportation, logistics, manufacturing, or similar environments preferred
Comfortable operating independently and managing multiple priorities
Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
