We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to join our team. This role focuses on managing administrative HR tasks while ensuring compliance and accuracy in employee records and processes. As this is a remote long-term contract position, it offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic HR environment and support various HR functions.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Process staff change notices accurately and within designated timeframes
Conduct audits to ensure compliance across HR and payroll departments
Handle state unemployment insurance form submissions efficiently
Assist with employee terminations by managing exit paperwork and related documentation
Respond to employee inquiries and resolve issues promptly through the HR ticketing system
File documentation appropriately in employee records and maintain organized systems
Prepare correspondence and reports as requested by HR leadership
Perform background checks and ensure occupational health requirements are met
Support HR compliance projects and contribute to process improvements
Requirements:
Proven experience in human resources administration, including record maintenance and compliance
Proficiency in HRIS systems and data management
Strong knowledge of onboarding processes and employee relations
Experience conducting background checks and managing related documentation
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
