The Medical Human Resources (HR) Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department within a healthcare environment. This role assists with employee onboarding, HR documentation, compliance tracking, and day‑to‑day HR operations, while ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and confidentiality standards. The position is ideal for candidates with HR or administrative experience who are interested in growing their career in healthcare human resources.
Job Responsibility:
Support new hire onboarding, including offer letters, onboarding paperwork, and orientation coordination
Maintain and update employee personnel files in HRIS and electronic filing systems
Assist with credentialing, licensing, and compliance tracking for clinical and non‑clinical staff
Coordinate background checks, TB testing, immunization records, and other pre‑employment requirements
Track employee certifications, trainings, and annual compliance requirements
Assist with HR reporting, data entry, and spreadsheet tracking using Excel
Serve as a point of contact for basic HR inquiries from employees and managers
Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement, audits, and policy updates
Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and organizational information
Perform additional HR and administrative support duties as assigned
Requirements:
1–3 years of HR, medical administrative, or office support experience preferred
Experience in a healthcare or regulated environment is a plus
Familiarity with onboarding, personnel records, and HR documentation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
Experience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of HIPAA, labor compliance, or healthcare HR practices is a plus but not required
Nice to have:
Experience in a healthcare or regulated environment is a plus
