Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Human Resources (HR) Business Partner to join our team in Rochester, New York. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive workplace culture, implementing merit-based performance systems, and providing leadership training. The ideal candidate will excel in managing HR functions while supporting organizational growth and strategic initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as a collaborative HR partner to align business objectives with human resources strategies
  • Develop and implement a culture focused on performance and merit-based systems
  • Provide training and coaching to leadership teams on conflict resolution and effective management practices
  • Oversee the maintenance and updates of the company HR manual to ensure compliance and relevance
  • Manage payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness, with potential delegation to HR Generalists
  • Support employee relations efforts to resolve workplace issues and enhance employee engagement
  • Facilitate onboarding processes and ensure new hires are fully integrated into the organization
  • Utilize HRIS systems, such as Paylocity, to streamline HR processes and maintain accurate employee records
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to create and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Occasionally travel to secondary office locations to address HR needs and support remote teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, such as Paylocity, is highly desirable
  • Proven expertise in employee relations, compliance, and benefit administration
  • Ability to train and coach leadership on management practices and conflict resolution
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of onboarding processes and ensuring compliance with employment regulations
