Maintain and refresh required compliance notices and workplace postings to help ensure alignment with current regulations
Support the review and standardization of job descriptions, including formatting updates and coordination with internal job profiles and grading structures
Assist in drafting and organizing a Maine-compliant for-cause testing policy in partnership with HR leadership
Help coordinate employee engagement activities, including planning details for summer events and related communications
Evaluate onboarding workflows and recommend practical improvements that create a smoother experience for new team members
Prepare training materials and presentation decks in Microsoft PowerPoint to support HR programs and internal meetings
Provide administrative support for HR processes such as documentation tracking, status updates, and follow-up on project milestones
Assist with additional HR initiatives as business needs develop, adapting to changing priorities across the department
Requirements:
Prior experience supporting HR administration, employee documentation, or related human resources activities
Working knowledge of HR compliance practices and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Familiarity with onboarding coordination and general pre-employment processes, including pre-employment screening support
Experience using HRIS platforms or other systems for maintaining employee-related records
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including the ability to create effective presentations in PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple assignments independently in a hybrid work environment with limited weekly hours
Excellent organizational and communication skills with close attention to detail
Experience with event planning or employee engagement coordination is a plus
