We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Columbia, Maryland. Job Responsibility:
Make daily outbound calls to support registration and credentialing activities
Assist with recruiting efforts by sourcing, screening, and scheduling candidates
Facilitate onboarding processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time
Maintain and update employee records in databases, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
Conduct background checks and verify employment credentials as part of the hiring process
Collaborate with team members to address employee relations issues and resolve concerns
Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling and document management
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legal regulations
Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
Previous experience in HR administration or a similar role
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with recruitment processes, including candidate sourcing and screening
Familiarity with onboarding procedures and employment documentation
Ability to manage high call volumes while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
Understanding of employee relations practices and compliance standards
