Job Description:

Human Resources Generalist position at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara Santa Barbara, assisting management with HR issues, supporting hiring processes, maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with laws and policies, and delivering luxury hospitality service in accordance with The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards.

Job Responsibility:

Assist and support management and leadership team with handling HR issues
Assist employees with internal and external transfer requests
Monitor and assist managers with hiring processes
Coordinate applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks
Maintain applicant flow and transfer request logs
Create and maintain new hire and personnel files
Assist with new employee orientation
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
Support processing and maintenance of payroll records
Inform HR management of employee relations issues
Generate HR data reports
Train new hires on HR processes and policies

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
