Our client in Jenkintown is seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist for a 12-14 week temporary engagement. This position will begin immediately and is 100% on-site. The ideal candidate will have experience managing confidential employee files utilizing UKG for efficient onboarding processes. Intermediate Excel skills are also required. This role requires strong knowledge of MS Word and Outlook, along with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all HR-related tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and update confidential employee files and records in compliance with legal requirements and company policies
Utilize UKG software to facilitate smooth onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring all documentation and procedures are completed accurately and on time
Manage employee data in HRIS (Human Resource Information System) to ensure accuracy and integrity of information
Support HR team in various administrative tasks such as scheduling interviews and preparing reports
Assist in employee relations activities
Prepare and distribute HR-related correspondence using MS Word and Outlook
Compile and analyze HR metrics and data using Excel to support HR reporting and decision-making
Maintain knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements to ensure compliance
Requirements:
Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, with a strong focus on confidentiality and accuracy
Proficiency in using UKG for HRIS management, and intermediate skills in Excel
Solid understanding of HR practices and employment laws
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
Proficiency in HR management systems and intermediate-level Excel skills
Solid knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Capability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment
