The Facility Human Resources Generalist will provide a broad range of HR services to support: recruitment and succession planning, leave management and employee relations. This role will also provide support with both employment law and policy interpretation, compensation, staffing and benefits administration. The Facility Human Resources Generalist will also assist with employee rewards and recognition, as well as with regulatory compliance guidance and HR reporting too. This role works onsite Monday to Friday at our Nestle Health Science USA Manufacturing Facility in Boca Raton, Florida.
Job Responsibility:
Aid in execution of the Nestlé People Strategy processes
Support Nestlé initiatives such as the Nestlé Management and Leadership Principles while executing workforce planning processes
Ensure the culture & working environment is open, empowering, fair, and equitable
Manage special projects in workforce management, strategic planning, quarterly/monthly people data reports
Responsible for salaried and hourly staffing through onboarding and retention
Collaborate with talent management teams in recruitment, new hire processing, posts announcements, job descriptions, diversity recruitment strategies, interviewing candidates
Serve as liaison between employees and site leadership
Build and maintain relations with employees at the manufacturing site
Conduct investigations, provide coaching, and document findings
Supporting a holistic safety focus by driving people related safety goals and business initiatives
Perform planned/impromptu investigations and audits to ensure and/or maintain EEO/AA/OFCC or Federal/State employment law compliance
Perform additional HR-related duties and tasks as assigned by the Facility Human Resources Manager
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or in a related field highly preferred
3+ years of relevant full-cycle Human Resources work experience required, preferably working within a Manufacturing, Warehouse or in a Distribution environment
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) required
Knowledge and thorough understanding of Federal and State employment laws required
Must have excellent communication, presentation, follow-up and stakeholder management skills
Must be highly organized, attentive to detail, team-oriented and analytical
Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision
Approaches others with open mind, understand and motivates diverse individuals and groups
Willing and able to travel up to and including 5% for business purposes required
Willing and able to work a flexible schedule Monday to Friday including mornings, afternoons and some evenings required
Nice to have:
Experience with HRIS and Timekeeping systems including SuccessFactors or Kronos a plus
Current or prior Project Management experience is desired
Bilingual in both English and Spanish languages is highly desired
