The HR Generalist will support daily human resources operations including recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Job Responsibility:
Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
Administer employee benefits and answer employee questions regarding HR policies
Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local laws
Support performance management and employee development initiatives
Assist with payroll coordination and timekeeping processes
Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially
Coordinate training programs and employee engagement activities
Update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook materials
Generate HR reports and maintain accurate documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field
2+ years of experience in human resources administration, employee relations, onboarding, benefits, or a closely related HR function
Certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is required
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and respond effectively to sensitive employee matters
Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with experience using HRIS platforms and payroll systems
Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance practices, including recordkeeping and leave administration requirements
