The town of Bedford is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual for the position of Human Resources Generalist. This position performs professional and administrative duties related to a wide variety of functions within the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for administering employee benefits for all town employees, including health, dental, vision, disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, and deferred compensation plans. This position also plays a critical role in assisting retirees with their health and dental insurance. Other duties include, but are not limited to: assist with the employee onboarding and offboarding process; assist with the management of FMLA, MPLA, and other local, state and federal laws; assist with annual open enrollment; maintain personnel files and records; respond to internal and external inquiries and provide assistance.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, human resources or related area is preferred
plus two to four years experience. Municipal experience preferred. Applicants must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.
