We are seeking a professional Human Resources Generalist with 5+ years of relevant HR experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage phone communications with professionalism. Onsite interviewing and work are required; preference will be given to candidates located in Hawaii.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as a primary HR point of contact for employees, answering phones and responding to HR-related questions with excellent customer service
Administer HR programs including benefits, compensation, performance management, and employee relations
Support onboarding, offboarding, and the administration of HR lifecycle processes for all staff
Maintain and update personnel files and HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Coordinate recruitment activities, schedule interviews, and process new hire paperwork
Advise management and staff on HR policies, procedures, and compliance with labor laws
Assist in investigating employee relations issues and help resolve workplace conflicts professionally
Support HR projects including training, engagement, and compliance initiative
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role
Demonstrated experience answering phones and providing excellent customer service
In-depth knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and best practices
Proficient with HRIS and Microsoft Office tools
Outstanding communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential matters
Must be able to work onsite in Hawaii (local candidates preferred due to onsite requirements)
