Job Description:

The HR Generalist will play a critical role in supporting vital HR functions, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and fostering a positive, engaging workplace environment. Responsibilities include recruitment, training facilitation, compliance management, payroll support, and assisting with company-wide HR initiatives. Strong communication skills, HR experience, and knowledge of employment laws are essential.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as a point of contact for employees to address concerns, resolve workplace issues, and promote employee engagement
  • Support the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and facilitating new hire onboarding
  • Ensure company policies are up to date and comply with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Maintain employee records in accordance with compliance requirements
  • Facilitate employee training programs and assist managers in identifying growth opportunities for team members
  • Assist with payroll processes, benefits enrollment, and addressing employee questions related to compensation and benefits
  • Support performance evaluation processes, goal setting, and coaching efforts to drive continuous improvement
  • Prepare and analyze HR-related data, including turnover, retention, and recruitment metrics, to inform HR strategies
  • Assist with company-wide HR initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion programs, community engagement, or HRIS implementation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant HR experience (generalist-level responsibility preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • equivalent experience may be considered
  • Professional certifications such as SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) are a plus
  • Familiarity with HRIS software (e.g., Workday, ADP), as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong communication, conflict-resolution, and team-building skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of employment laws, wage regulations, and HR compliance standards.

Nice to have:

  • Professional certifications such as SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
  • Familiarity with HRIS software (e.g., Workday, ADP).
