The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in supporting daily HR operations, including employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and performance management. The ideal candidate will have experience in a multi-state or property management environment and a strong understanding of HR best practices.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs
Manage full-cycle onboarding and offboarding processes for corporate and property-level staff
Support employee relations efforts by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and resolving workplace issues
Assist with performance management processes, including reviews, coaching, and documentation
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Administer benefits programs and support open enrollment processes
Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and HR initiatives
Assist with recruiting efforts, including job postings, screening, and interview coordination
Support payroll processes and ensure accuracy in employee data reporting
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
3+ years of HR experience, preferably within real estate, property management, or a multi-site environment
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
