Job Description

Gates Karviná (Gates Hydraulics s.r.o.) is a major manufacturing facility producing high-quality industrial and automotive fluid power and transmission components. We are currently looking for an HR Generalist and Talent Advisor to provide comprehensive support to the HR Manager and the organization across Human Resources, with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition, actively partnering with hiring managers throughout the full recruitment lifecycle. The role also ensures efficient and consistent HR services for employees and management, including professional guidance on labour law and company HR policies and procedures in line with business needs.

Job Responsibility

  • Plays a key role in end-to-end recruitment activities, including preparation of job advertisements, candidate sourcing and selection, active interviewing, and coordination of hiring decisions
  • Ensures smooth onboarding and adaptation of new employees, including all related HR administration
  • Acts as a central point of contact for external temporary labour providers
  • Coordinates all requirements related to temporary manufacturing workforce
  • Prepares regular and ad-hoc HR reports covering headcount, absence, training, staff rotation, labour costs, and other HR KPIs
  • Serves as the key administrator of local and global HR information systems
  • Supervises and monitors work time and attendance systems
  • Provides accurate and timely input data to payroll and supports payroll-related processes
  • Prepares and submits mandatory HR statistics and reports in compliance with Czech authorities’ requirements
  • Actively contributes to and supports the implementation of new HR projects
  • Participates in internal and external HR marketing activities
  • Represents the company at job fairs, school open days, and other employer branding events
  • Provides ongoing guidance and support to employees on daily HR-related matters
  • Supports employee engagement initiatives, including implementation and tracking of local improvement activities and employee suggestion programs

Requirements

  • Completed secondary education (A levels) or higher with 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, including hands-on experience with recruitment and selection processes
  • Understanding of employee development and learning methods
  • Basic knowledge of labour law and employment regulations
  • Experience with HR systems and e-recruiting tools is an advantage
  • Strong ability to manage, coordinate, and support a broad range of HR activities
  • High level of accuracy, flexibility, stress resistance, and reliability
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Assertive, proactive, and service-oriented mindset
  • Strong team spirit combined with a systematic, structured approach and business thinking
  • Ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and drive results
  • Excellent English (written and spoken)
