Job Description

Beacon Hill’s client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join a small, collaborative HR team in their Greeley, Colorado office. This is a fully onsite position and will play a critical role in strengthening the organization’s HR compliance function. The ideal candidate brings strong HR fundamentals, a compliance-focused mindset in prior roles.

Job Responsibility

  • Review, update, and maintain employee handbooks to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Manage workers’ compensation and unemployment claims
  • Support and administer employee leaves, including: FMLA
  • ADA accommodations
  • Leaves of absence (LOA)
  • Family leave programs
  • Serve as a compliance resource for the HR team, addressing gaps related to: Employment law and regulatory compliance
  • ADA and FMLA requirements
  • Leave administration best practices
  • Partner closely with HR team members to support consistent and compliant HR operations

Requirements

  • 3+ years of human resources experience required
  • Strong background in HR compliance
  • Hands-on experience with: Employee handbook maintenance
  • Workers' compensation and unemployment claims
  • Leave administration (FMLA, ADA, LOA, family leave)

Nice to have

Prior supervisory experience is a plus, but not required
