Job Description:

In this role, you will serve as an operational contributor within the UCLA Health Human Resources Service Center, supporting high-volume, complex HR functions across the employee lifecycle. You will be responsible for processing and auditing HR transactions, managing employee and departmental inquiries, maintaining accurate and compliant HR records, and ensuring audit readiness across HR systems. This position utilizes UCPath, ServiceNow, Avature, Salesforce, RASC interfaces, and related HR systems to ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and timely service delivery. As such, you will partner closely with HR Service Center teams, Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, and Compliance to resolve issues, improve processes, and enhance the overall employee experience. The Human Resources Service Center supports UCLA Health employees, leadership, and departments by delivering consistent, compliant, and customer-focused HR services. The Service Center operates in a shared services environment and partners with Workforce Administration, Position Management, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, and Compliance to ensure accurate HR operations and service excellence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as an operational contributor within the UCLA Health Human Resources Service Center, supporting high-volume, complex HR functions across the employee lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of progressively responsible experience in HR operations, shared services, workforce administration, position management, benefits, or employee services
  • Experience working with HRIS and case management systems (e.g., UCPath/PeopleSoft, ServiceNow) preferred
  • Experience supporting HR compliance, audits, or HR file management preferred
  • Experience collaborating with UCPath Center and/or Retirement Administration Service Center (RASC) to resolve benefits, retirement, or service credit issues preferred
  • Experience supporting high-volume HR operations within an academic medical center or large, complex organization preferred

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with HRIS and case management systems (e.g., UCPath/PeopleSoft, ServiceNow)
  • Experience supporting HR compliance, audits, or HR file management
