Job Description

The Human Resources File Clerk is responsible for maintaining personnel files and retrieve records as needed and ensures the files and supply is well organized. Ability to work in a fast high volume department in a friendly and professional manner

Job Responsibility

  • File all paperwork in a quick and organized manner in alphabetical order
  • Create new files as necessary
  • Find and retrieve information from files in response to requests
  • Locate and remove files when requested
  • Place materials into storage receptacles, such as file cabinets, boxes, bins according to classification and identification information
  • Scan or read incoming materials in order to determine how and where they should be classified or filed
  • Sort or classify information according to content, purpose alphabetical or numerical order
  • Track materials removed from files in order to ensure that borrowed files are returned
  • Clean and maintain file & storage space
  • Fax and photocopy files
  • Ensure files are accessible in corresponding area
  • Ensure no materials in file are lost
  • Be able to explain filing system to others
  • Assist with retrieving building supply and stock according
  • Stock copy machine with paper
  • Cover VTC Receptionist duties

Requirements

  • Must have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a team environment
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Type minimum 45 WPM
  • Must be fluent in both Spanish and English
  • Ability to multi-task and handle large quantity of work
  • Must work well with deadlines
  • Quick learner
  • Must be able to work 8am -5pm including some Saturdays
