The town of Dartmouth seeks a highly responsible and experienced professional to serve as Human Resources Director. This position is responsible for administering the town's personnel policies and programs; overseeing recruitment and employee benefits administration; participating in collective bargaining; managing employee training and professional development; ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; and advising employees on a wide range of human resources matters. Qualifications include bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field required; a master's degree in human resources or public administration is highly desirable; and five years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management. Training and experience in municipal personnel administration are highly preferred, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates should also possess thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws; civil service and labor relations; compensation and benefits; employee classification; and recruitment. Expected Hiring Range: $105,000-$125,000 with full range to $145,000
