A well-established and growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead and support key HR initiatives during an exciting period of organizational growth. Job Responsibility
Provide leadership and oversight for all human resources operations and initiatives
Manage, mentor, and develop a small HR team of 2–4 professionals
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational development matters
Lead employee relations efforts, including coaching managers, conflict resolution, investigations, and policy interpretation
Develop and implement talent management strategies to support organizational growth and retention
Drive change management initiatives and support employees through organizational transitions
Partner with leadership to execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives
Oversee and develop employee training and professional development programs
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, with a strong emphasis on Connecticut labor and employment regulations
Manage employee surveys and execute change accordingly
Lead the rollout and execution of new HR programs, initiatives, and organizational strategies
Foster a positive, collaborative, and employee-focused workplace culture
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required
Progressive Human Resources leadership experience, preferably within healthcare or a highly regulated environment (5+ years)
Strong expertise in employee relations, talent management, and organizational development
Extensive knowledge of Connecticut labor and employment laws
Experience supporting organizations through growth, change, and evolving workforce needs
Proficiency with comprehensive HRIS platforms and HR technology systems
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
