We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Director to lead and enhance the HR operations within our wholesale distribution organization in Orlando, Florida. This role focuses on fostering a positive and high-performing workplace culture while overseeing key aspects of human resources, including talent management, compliance, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on leadership with the ability to collaborate effectively with executives to drive organizational success.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational goals and workforce planning
Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on people-related matters
Build and lead a high-performing HR team, ensuring effective service delivery across all functions
Oversee full-cycle recruiting efforts, ensuring the company attracts and retains top talent
Create and implement talent development, leadership training, and succession planning programs
Manage onboarding and orientation programs that support rapid integration and long-term employee success
Serve as a trusted partner for employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution
Ensure the organization complies with all federal, state, and local employment laws
Maintain and update company policies, employee handbooks, and HR documentation
Drive performance review processes, goal-setting frameworks, and feedback systems
Coach managers and leaders on performance improvement strategies and best practices
Oversee compensation structures, job leveling, and market benchmarking
Evaluate and administer employee benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and cost-effectiveness
Partner with finance on workforce budgeting and headcount planning
Implement efficient HR systems, processes, and technologies to support scalability
Manage HR metrics, dashboards, and reporting to inform leadership decisions
Drive continuous improvements in HR workflows, employee engagement, and service delivery
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Master’s or HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) strongly preferred
8–12+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices
Experience supporting a mid-sized organization (200–1,000 employees) preferred
Demonstrated success in leading teams and partnering with executive leadership
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
Proven ability to create and implement HR strategies that support business goals
