The Human Resources Coordinator provides onsite HR support to CIMS and Associa OnCall employees on benefits, recruiting, new hire onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, safety and worker’s compensation while contributing to a positive workplace culture. Schedule is Monday – Friday – 8am – 4:30pm in office.
Job Responsibility:
Main point of contact for questions on employee benefits
Update, Post and remove job postings on Indeed as needed
Schedule meeting with new hire to complete I9, send gift to new hire and provide benefit enrollment support as needed
Complete all SDI and PFL forms for employees to receive paid state benefits
Assist with planning of company holiday party and company picnic
Track annual Performance and Self Assessment reviews
Assist employees to complete workers’ compensation packet and ensure prompt medical attention
Respond to all emails, in a timely manner, sent to HR email account
Continued self-development of HR knowledge, and multi state employment laws where CIMS employees are located
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
A minimum of 3 years of HR experience
Willing to travel locally via automobile roughly 15% of time and has a clean driving record
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Intermediate level knowledge of all MS Office applications, Teams, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint and ADP Workforce Now
Ability to complete high-volume workload, meet critical deadlines and work through constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Ability to remain calm under pressure and objective when managing sensitive or complex employee matters
Punctual and dress professionally for a business environment
Strong time management and organizational skills are required
Ability to learn quickly, take direction and accept feedback
Confidentiality and discretion in performing all duties and responsibilities
Nice to have:
Knowledge of I9 work verification requirements desirable
Prior knowledge of human resources compliance laws, or an aptitude to learn HR compliance, including knowledge of California wage and hour laws
