A growing engineering and technical services firm in Carlsbad is seeking an HR Coordinator to support daily HR operations across a diverse, project-driven workforce. You will play a key role in keeping HR functions running smoothly while serving as a dependable resource for employees and managers alike. This position offers broad exposure to HR administration, recruiting coordination, compliance tracking, and employee support in a professional, fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates
Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and personnel files
Schedule interviews and support recruiting logistics
Assist with benefits administration and employee enrollment
Track certifications, training, and compliance documentation
Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures
Prepare HR reports related to headcount, turnover, and compliance
Requirements:
2–4 years of HR coordination or HR administrative experience
Experience supporting technical, engineering, or professional services environments preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of basic employment laws and HR best practices
