We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role involves providing essential administrative support to the HR department, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining confidentiality throughout all tasks. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in filing and record management, as well as a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
Job Responsibility:
Organize and maintain physical employee files, ensuring all documentation is complete and securely stored
Perform filing, scanning, and copying tasks to support HR operations
Assist with onboarding processes by updating and managing employee records
Conduct audits of I-9 forms to ensure compliance with legal requirements
Support the cleanup and organization of filing rooms or file management projects
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Collaborate with HR team members to streamline administrative workflows
Verify records for accuracy and completeness before archiving or processing
Provide general back-office support to the Human Resources department
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures during all administrative tasks
Requirements:
Proven experience in office administration or back-office support roles
Familiarity with filing systems and document organization
Knowledge of HR practices, including I-9 compliance and onboarding procedures
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks
Proficiency in basic office tools such as scanners, copiers, and filing systems
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have:
