A growing hospitality management group in Oceanside is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and day-to-day HR operations across multiple locations. The HR team is looking for someone highly organized, approachable, and capable of balancing administrative responsibilities with employee support in a fast-paced operational setting. Job Responsibility
Coordinate interviews, candidate communication, and onboarding logistics
Assist with posting job openings across multiple recruiting platforms
Prepare onboarding paperwork and support new hire orientation processes
Conduct background checks, employment verification, and onboarding follow-up
Maintain applicant tracking system records and recruiting documentation
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures
Maintain employee files, HR documentation, and compliance records
Assist with leave tracking, payroll coordination, and employee status updates
Support employee engagement initiatives, trainings, and internal HR events
Coordinate HR meetings, scheduling, and communication efforts
Ensure accurate recordkeeping and confidentiality of employee information
Assist with HR reporting, audits, and compliance-related projects
Support adherence to California labor laws and company policies
Requirements
2+ years of HR, recruiting, or administrative coordination experience preferred
Hospitality, restaurant, or multi-location industry experience strongly preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
Experience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems preferred
