Biomason is decarbonizing the built environment through planet-friendly, high-performance biocement. As a global leader in biological concrete, we are tackling carbon emissions at their source by rethinking how cement is made. Instead of relying on traditional carbon-intensive processes, we harness the natural power of microorganisms to grow our biocement, delivering a high-quality material with a significantly lower environmental footprint. The HR Business Partner at Biomason, will be our end-to-end HR professional, driving the HR agenda in Denmark. We will expect you to administer human resources policies and programs, balancing employee advocacy and business operating needs. This role provides comprehensive HR support to business leaders, ensuring compliance with Danish and relevant European Union employment laws while supporting the company's strategic objectives and driving employee engagement. Success in this role will depend on clear, effective communication with colleagues both locally and across US-based teams.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with leadership to support business priorities, workforce planning, and organizational development efforts
Provide HR guidance and support to employees and management on various topics
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters
Facilitate recruitment and onboarding processes
Administer and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs
Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and reporting systems
Ensure compliance with all applicable Danish and European Union employment laws and regulations
Assist in the administration of benefits programs
Support payroll processes
Assist in the development and execution of employee engagement initiatives
Support performance management efforts
Lead HR-related training sessions
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
At least 7+ years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Google Workspace is a must
Experience in start-up environments, first time implementations and first of a kind operations is highly desirable
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding of Danish and EU labor laws
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Nice to have:
Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP)
