We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in San Diego, California. In this role, you will act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning HR strategies with organizational goals to drive performance and foster a positive work environment. Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with department leaders to design and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives
Provide expert advice on organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning to enhance efficiency and growth
Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes
Analyze HR data and trends to identify areas for improvement and support informed decision-making
Partner with Talent Acquisition to oversee recruitment efforts and ensure seamless onboarding processes
Administer benefits enrollment for new hires and annual open enrollment, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Lead performance management initiatives and oversee employee development programs to promote career growth
Ensure adherence to employment regulations and company policies, mitigating legal risks
Drive change management initiatives and support organizational transitions to maintain productivity and morale
Perform additional duties as assigned to support HR and business goals
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a business partner or generalist capacity
Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and HR practices
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across organizational levels
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Nice to have:
Certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or SPHR is preferred
Experience in a matrixed or multi-site organization is an advantage
