The Robert Half HR Solutions team is partnering with a client seeking a well-rounded HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and can seamlessly balance strategic partnership with hands-on execution. This HR Business Partner will support both corporate and field operations, partnering closely with leaders and employees to drive business objectives, ensure compliance, and promote a positive employee experience across a multi-state, union-supported workforce.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as a trusted HR partner to both corporate and field leadership, providing guidance aligned with business goals and operational needs
Own full-cycle HR support including employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations
Support a multi-state, union and non-union employee population, ensuring adherence to state, federal, and labor regulations
Act as a primary point of contact for employees across corporate and field environments, addressing HR-related questions with professionalism and urgency
Partner cross-functionally to drive consistency and improvements in HR processes, policies, and employee programs
Maintain accurate employee data, reporting, and documentation within Paycor HRIS, ensuring data integrity and compliance
Support employee relations within a union environment, including policy interpretation, documentation, and issue resolution
Contribute to performance management, engagement initiatives, and organizational changes across diverse employee groups
Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
5+ years of progressive HR Generalist/HRBP experience, ideally in a fast-paced or evolving environment
Proven experience supporting both corporate and field employee populations
Experience with multi-state workforces, including union environments
Hands-on experience with Paycor HRIS (preferred)
Strong partnership experience with operations leaders and employees at all levels
Ability to manage competing priorities with strong organization and attention to detail
Solid understanding of HR best practices, compliance, and employee relations
Nice to have:
Experience working in a lean HR team, operating in a true business partner capacity
