Job Responsibility:
Strategic Business Partnership: Partner with U.S. senior leaders to drive global people and talent priorities that support business growth
Lead workforce planning, org design, and succession activities tailored to the U.S. market
Turn people data, engagement insights, and market intelligence into actionable U.S. recommendations
Provide critical U.S. perspectives into global workforce discussions
Talent & Performance: Deliver global performance, talent, and reward programs in the U.S., driving consistency and engagement
Support succession and internal mobility in alignment with global frameworks
Coach leaders to elevate performance, accountability, and inclusive leadership
Payroll: Oversee end-to-end U.S. payroll execution with 100% accuracy and compliance
Manage the outsourced payroll provider as the primary point of contact
Validate all payroll changes (new hires, terminations, comp changes, bonuses, deductions, benefits)
Conduct pre‑payroll checks and approve final payroll each cycle across all jurisdictions
Employee Relations & Compliance: Serve as the escalation point for complex ER matters
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Lead investigations, restructures, terminations, and risk mitigation
Collaborate with external counsel as needed
Oversee visa and work authorization processes
Culture, Engagement & Employee Experience: Bring global culture and engagement initiatives to life in the U.S. with tailored local execution
Use engagement and retention insights to drive continuous improvement
Champion wellbeing, inclusion, belonging, and ethical leadership
HR Operations & Governance: Execute global policies and people programs with local excellence
Maintain HRIS data integrity and use analytics to guide decisions
Ensure U.S. processes meet regulatory standards and align with global frameworks
Sustainability & Purpose: Embed ELEMIS’ Sustainability Goals—Climate, Biodiversity, and People—into every people initiative
Requirements:
Experienced HR Business Partner with strategic impact
Commercially minded with strong business partnering skills
SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, or PHR preferred
Skilled at influencing senior leaders with confidence and data-led insight
Deep knowledge of U.S. employment law
Strong analytical, HRIS, and problem‑solving abilities
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and calm
High integrity and discretion with sensitive information
