We are looking for a proactive and approachable Human Resources Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Beverly Hills, California. This contract position is around 2–3 months and provides a fantastic opportunity for individuals at the beginning of their HR career to gain hands-on experience in the hospitality industry. Hours are 9-5, onsite Monday through Friday.
Job Responsibility:
Assist employees with resetting passwords in the ADP Workforce Now system and resolving basic account access issues
Support administrative operations by filing and maintaining accurate records
Digitize documents through scanning to facilitate the transition to paperless systems
Enter and update employee information in the HR database with precision
Ensure compliance with onboarding processes and assist in gathering necessary documentation
Conduct background checks and verify employee credentials as part of hiring procedures
Address employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment
Requirements:
Previous experience in human resources or administrative roles is highly desirable
Familiarity with HRIS systems, such as Workforce Now, is preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees and management
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly valued
Knowledge of onboarding processes and employee relations is beneficial
Basic understanding of background checks and compliance regulations
Positive attitude and willingness to assist in various HR tasks
