A well-established food and beverage company in Solana Beach is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support the HR team with employee onboarding, recruiting coordination, HR administration, and employee support activities. Job Responsibility
Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation
Assist employees with general HR-related questions and requests
Support benefits administration, onboarding paperwork, and employment documentation
Process employee status changes and maintain accurate HRIS records
Assist with leave tracking and compliance documentation
Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communication
Assist with job postings and applicant tracking system updates
Prepare new hire packets and onboarding materials
Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and onboarding logistics
Support orientation and employee engagement initiatives
Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and internal communications
Assist with training coordination and employee events
Maintain confidentiality regarding employee and company information
Requirements
1+ year of HR, recruiting, administrative, or office support experience preferred
Food manufacturing, hospitality, retail, or consumer products industry experience is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
Experience with Paycom, ADP, UKG, or other HRIS systems preferred
