We are looking for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Midland, Texas. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to support key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and administrative coordination. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to supporting both internal teams and external clients.
Job Responsibility:
Facilitate recruitment processes, including candidate sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews
Coordinate and execute orientations and onboarding activities to ensure smooth transitions for employees
Manage administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and maintaining accurate records
Collaborate with HR leadership to support employee relations and ensure compliance with policies
Assist in organizing meetings, appointments, and schedules to optimize departmental efficiency
Ensure proper documentation and tracking in HRIS systems
Handle background checks and verification processes for prospective employees
Provide attentive communication and support to internal teams and external clients
Support full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing and utilizing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter
Contribute to enhancing HR processes and procedures to improve overall operations
Requirements:
Previous experience in human resources or administrative roles
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in HRIS systems and other recruitment tools
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
Familiarity with recruiting processes, onboarding, and employee relations
Proactive and adaptable approach to managing multiple responsibilities
